Fastlane main event without John Cena closes out SmackDown

John Cena is a genius. Cena’s reward for not showing up to SmackDown tonight (Mar. 6) was essentially a bye week heading into this Sunday’s Fastlane pay-per-view.

What began as an AJ Styles vs. Dolph Ziggler main event to close out tonight’s episode of SD Live, was transformed into fatal five way match-up by Commissioner Shane McMahon.

Who joined Styles and Ziggler in the new main event?

John Cena you are an evil genius.

Everyone should really blame Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn for running in and halting the original Styles vs. Ziggler affair. The Fastlane main event, minus Cena, on SmackDown was utter chaos.

The story of Owens and Zayn working as an unit was present throughout the five man match.

At the very end of the match as Zayn and Owens were attempting to clear out the ring, Styles was knocked to the floor. With only two men left in the ring, Owens backed into the corner to take a breather but instead was almost immediately met by a Helluva Kick from Zayn.

Sami Zayn walks out of SmackDown with his hand raised and Kevin Owens in shock.

Who will win the Fastlane main event on Sunday and walk away with the WWE Championship?
