Last week’s episode of Monday Night Raw was down in viewers despite the fact that it came just one night after Elimination Chamber and featured Ronda Rousey’s first appearance on the show. This week, WWE took its sweet time promoting her coming back and viewers were down again.
Indeed, this week’s episode drew 3.03 million viewers, down from last week’s 3.18 million. The hourly breakdown shows the usual pattern:
Hour one: 3.30 million
Hour two: 3.27 million
Hour three: 2.73 million
Rousey was used in the main event last week, and with viewership patterns holding steady, they smartened up quickly and had her open the show this week. She hasn’t yet made much of a difference in television ratings but there’s time for this to catch on just yet.
