The next pay-per-view (PPV) on the WWE schedule is the Fastlane event set to take place on Sun., Mar. 11, 2018, at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. This will be the fourth show bearing the name and will be exclusive to the SmackDown Live brand. It is the final brand exclusive show.
We're just one week from showtime and multiple matches are official for the show.
- Six Pack Challenge for WWE Championship
AJ Styles was originally set to defend his championship against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn and they’ve just been adding wrestlers left and right. Dolph Ziggler, Baron Corbin, and John Cena all won matches to get in.
- The Usos vs. The New Day (SmackDown tag team championship)
New Day defeated Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin to become top contenders and reignite a rivalry that feels as though it’s gone on forever.
- Charlotte vs. Ruby Riott (SmackDown women’s championship)
Riott and her Squad have been battling with Naomi, Becky Lynch, and Charlotte over the past few weeks. Ruby has gotten the better of the former two and now will try her hand at taking the title from “The Queen.”
- Bobby Roode vs. Randy Orton (U.S. championship)
This came about simply because Orton decided he wanted to win the United States title. He declared his intention to do as much with an RKOOUTTANOWHERE. Jinder Mahal has been trying his best to get into the match, and that may still happen just yet.
There have been rumors that The Bludgeon Brothers could be added to the tag team title match, and they’ve teased that on television of late. The rest of the card looks like a mystery right now.
