Whether you expected bigger numbers last week or not, Daniel Bryan’s second appearance since getting cleared to return to the ring for WWE was, unsuprisingly, not as much of a draw as the first. Still a little jarring to see the Mar. 27 episode of SmackDown deliver the smallest audience WWE’s had on Tuesdays in more than a month, though.
SmackDown drew 2,576,000 viewers this week, a greater than 300K drop from seven days ago. That was the fourth biggest audience among cable originals on Tuesday night, behind Rachel Maddow on MSNBC, Sean Hannity on Fox News, and HGTV’s Fixer Upper.
Demographic share among 18 - 49 year olds saw a similar drop, although WWE did win the night with a .78.
