Sorry, it’s still not that one. But maybe we’ll get word on Undertaker later.
But this is still potentially big news for another angle fans have been buzzing about. The latest from PWInsider says that Jeff Hardy is in Cleveland for the Raw taping at Quicken Loans Arena tonight (Mar. 26).
The former WWE champion has been out of action since last September, when he was injured during a match on Raw and subsequently underwent surgery to repair a torn labrum and rotator cuff. Jeff appeared in last Monday’s “Ultimate Deletion” as one of the characters he played in TNA prior to his return to WWE with Matt Hardy at WrestleMania 33. There’s been a lot of speculation about what the future holds for Bray Wyatt after his loss to Woken Matt in Cameron, North Carolina. With Jeff back in the fold, it could involve Brother Nero.
Hardy was reportedly in Orlando training for his return last week, and was just announced as appearing at Greatest Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia earlier today, so a return wouldn’t be out of the blue. Fitting him into the already crowded line-up for this year’s ‘Mania will take some work, but his brother’s angle with Wyatt gives them an opening that might not require Jeff to do much with his surgically repaired shoulder right out of the gate.
We shall see.
