Bray Wyatt might be getting a much needed reboot thanks to ‘Ultimate Deletion’

One of the most popular things to speculate about coming out of the Mar. 19 Raw is the fate of Bray Wyatt. The show-closing “Ultimate Deletion” match/segment saw Matt Hardy pin the Consumer of Celestial Entities and throw him in the Lake of Reincarnation.

It’s Señor Benjamin’s inability to fish him out, and the “reincarnation” part of the whole affair, which has fans thinking we might get a new Bray, or possibly an old Husky Harris, whenever Wyatt returns to our screens.

Cageside’s crack video team of Cain A. Knight and Stef Hatala thinks a reboot is overdue. Our argument is above, and on the post-Raw episode of Observer Radio (subscription required but recommended), Dave Meltzer speculated along similar lines, making a similar case:

“So, I guess he’s going to come back different. I think it’s been a year of needing repackaging. I don’t know what he’ll do but hopefully it’s something completely different because the other character ran it’s course a long time ago.”

Let us know what you think about a retooled Bray Wyatt in the comments below.
