Elias has risen up the Raw card in a hurry over the past year, but he’s currently without a match for the first WrestleMania since his promotion to the main roster. Taking a page out of the Book of Rusev, he’s publicly floating a plan involving a celebrity for the April 8 show in New Orleans. And not just any celebrity... the Drifter wants former WWE champ Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson!
But Elias is no dummy, either. He saw what happened to Erick Rowan in Texas two years ago. So he’s not challenging The Brahma Bull to a match... he wants Johnson to bring the guitar he’s used during past “Rock Concert” segments for a sing-off!
As Elias told Sky Sports when discussing his plans for a big performance on WWE’s biggest stage:
“If The Rock wants to Walk With Elias then he’s more than welcome to. Keep in mind, The Rock maybe [performed with a guitar] a dozen times on television, but I am doing it on every week, and I’m doing it on the live events where we have hundreds of dates a year. So, if the Rock wants to Walk With Elias, he’s welcome to try.”
