WWE SmackDown Live ratings (Feb. 6, 2018): Numbers dip on the Road to WrestleMania

Another week, another small decline in SmackDown’s audience.

On Feb. 6, the blue brand drew 2,505,000 viewers for WWE and USA Network, down about 4K from last week’s Royal Rumble fallout show that went against President Trump’s State of the Union address. The demographic share among 18 - 49 year olds also dipped slightly, down to .75.

The blue brand was the tenth most viewed show among original cable programs on the night, behind numerous Fox News shows, Rachel Maddow on MSNBC, HGTV’s Fixer Upper, History’s Curse of Oak Island and a NBA game. It was third in the ratings behind the latter two shows.

What does it all mean? Other than that SmackDown isn’t attracting new viewers on the road to WrestleMania 34, we’re not sure. Tell us what you think. Here’s our list of the numbers from the past six months (including overall 18 - 49 year old ratings for 2018 episodes), if it helps you hypothesize:
