WWE.com

Here's a place to check results and comment along with the latest airing of WWE NXT in its regular Wednesday night at 8PM Eastern time slot on WWE Network.

Check out our Wednesday morning preview post to get caught up on what's been happening, and what we expect this week.

We'll post match results here, and we will also have our regular reactions post later. In the meantime, and most importantly, this gives you Cagesiders a dedicated place to rave and/or bitch about whatever happens on WWE’s third brand - during its initial broadcast!

NOTE: Spoilers are out there for these pre-taped broadcasts (including here), but many Cagesiders don't partake. If you are going to post or discuss spoilers for this show before they happen, or results of future shows, please use the spoiler bar in your comment.

Enjoy the show!

Temptation, why won’t you leave me alone? Lurking every corner, everywhere I go. Self-control, don’t turn your back on me now, when I need you the most. Constant pressure tests my will, my will or my won’t, my self-control escapes from me still, and I guess that means I’ve liveblogging this here pro wrestling show for you tonight, folks.

The show opens with the NXT intro video into Mauro Ranallo hyping up Johnny Gargano’s appearance tonight.

Undisputed ERA come out to defend their tag titles and SAnitY blindsides them! Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly get Eric Young isolated in the middle of the ring but Alexander Wolfe and Killian Dain cut them off and the brawl continues! Security hits the ring to pull them apart! Undisputed get out of Dodge but ominous music plays once they reach the stage--

Enter William Regal. He says enough is enough and this ends tonight, so he’s booking a six-man tornado tag as tonight’s main event!

Commentary hype said main event up.

Heavy Machinery (Otis Dozovic & Tucker Knight) vs. Riddick Moss & Tino Sabbatelli

Dozovic and Moss to start, Riddick with a side headlock, shot off, big shoulder block from Otis and he tags Tucker in. Stereo three-point stance shoulder blocks into stereo falling headbutts and Knight grabs a side headlock. Moss shoots him off but pulls him right back in for a northern lariat and takes him to the corner and works him over a bit.

Tag to Sabbatelli, more beating, big dropkick and he poses. Riddick wants the tag and Tino begrudgingly gives it to him, giving Tucker a chance to roll him up for a nearfall. Moss nearly lets Knight get away and tags Sabbatelli back in with a hard chop. Putting boots to Tucker, whip reversed and Tino goes hard into the corner, tag made! Otis running Sabbatelli over like a freight train!

The Caterpillar into the elbow drop... MOSS MAKES THE SAVE! Riddick fends Knight off, Tino thinks fast, schoolboy with his feet on the ropes but referee Drake Wuertz catches it and calls the count off! Tucker tags in, wipes Riddick out, Dozovic has Sabbatelli up...

Heavy Machinery win by pinfall with the assisted World’s Strongest Slam on Tino Sabbatelli.

Riddick comes around to Tino as the crowd chants “Tino sucks!”, Sabbatelli reaches his hand out... but Moss leaves him high and dry to head to the back on his own.

And on that note, we take a break for a house ad for 205 Live.

Back from our break, Johnny Gargano makes his entrance to vigorous “Johnny Wrestling!” chants.

He says it’s been a hell of a month. He went into Philly as confident as he’s ever been, he knew he was winning the match, he saw himself standing here as NXT Champion... unfortunately that didn’t happen, and it sucks. But coming out here and getting that reaction from the crowd, it’s very, very obviously-- he’s cut off by the chants again.

It’s obvious to him what he earned that night means more than a championship, he earned our respect. He says he had the match of a lifetime, and at his lowest of lows we picked him up and made him realize title or no title, he’s exactly who he says he is, Johnny freakin’ Wrestling. TakeOver: Philadelphia will be a night that he’ll never forget, but you know what else he’ll never forget?

A crutch shot to the back. He bit his tongue since TakeOver: Chicago, but Tomasso Ciampa, he’s coming for you! Face to face, man to man, one on one, why--

Enter Andrade “Cien” Almas, flanked by Zelina Vega as always. Almas gives Johnny the thumbs down from the stage and they head to the ring. He holds the title high in Johnny’s face and Vega starts, saying Gargano didn’t earn anything and shouldn’t be out here. No, Andrade should be out here with a parade, and confetti, instead of listening to how Johnny lost.

He didn’t prove anything but the fact that he’s a loser, and Ciampa had nothing to do with the loss. The NXT Champion has beaten him again and again and again, and he’s not Johnny Wrestling, he’s Johnny Loser. This gets big “We want Candice!” chants out of the crowd and Johnny responds. He says his favorite part of TakeOver was earning the crowd’s respect, but his second favorite part was his wife jumping the rail and beating the hell out of Zelina!

Vega gets in his face, jawing and shoves him, and indeed here comes Candice LeRae! She shoves Zelina to the mat, Johnny runs Almas off, and the champion and his manager are on the floor, left to leave in a huff. Vega gets to the stage and back on the mic, saying she’s sick of them and asking what it’ll take to get rid of them. They’ve beaten Gargano three times!

Johnny says if they want him gone, they have to give him another shot at the title! Zelina asks if she has it clear, he gets a title match but if he loses he leaves NXT for good? Gargano takes the bet, if he can’t win the title he’ll leave NXT!

We get an interview with Shayna Baszler where she says everybody knows if you get in the ring with her, you have three choices, tap, nap, or snap. There is no “what’s next”, there’s not going to be a rematch because Ember Moon is scared and knows that if she gets in the ring again, Shayna’ll take her title from her. She already wrenched her arm out of the socket.

Commentary hypes up our main event before informing us that Bianca BelAir is in action after another break for a house ad, this one advertising Pete Dunne vs. Roderick Strong for next week.

Tyler Bate is interviewed about his loss to Roderick Strong last week. He says it’s difficult to not be upset, but credit where it’s due, Roddy earned his title match. He’ll be watching very closely, however. He talks about how incredible winning Match of the Year was but he’s looking forward to having many more cracks at having Match of the Year in 2018 with the NXT roster.

Bianca BelAir vs. Jessie Tillson?

Wish they’d put up a graphic for these instead of leaving me to guess spelling based on commentary but anyway, to the match...

Jessie tries to offer a handshake and Bianca accepts but refuses to let go and turns it into a wrist-clutch Argentine backbreaker rack! She does a few squats and turns it into a slam, gets her up...

Bianca BelAir wins by pinfall with the Gallon Throw.

Commentary tosses to a video package covering Kairi Sane’s appearance in the women’s Royal Rumble match.

We’re informed that Aleister Black will be on the show next week.

This is followed by a Tweet from Ember Moon challenging Shayna Baszler to a rematch... next week!

SAnitY (Alexander Wolfe, Eric Young, & Killian Dain) vs. Undisputed ERA (Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, & Kyle O’Reilly) (Six-Man Tornado Tag Team Match)

Undisputed on the attack to start, but back in the ring SAnitY mostly turn the tide, getting the tag champs in the corner first. Cole takes a moment longer but they get him in position and throw everybody outside for war! O’Reilly’s head goes off the announce table! Adam gets Young with a neckbreaker into mounted punches, Dain clobbers Fish with a punch to the gut, Wolfe is punching Kyle in the head, it’s a tornado tag alright!

Pump kick from Killian and... we take a quick break for a house ad.

Back at it, Dain cracks Fish across the face again and puts him into the steps! Wolfe slams KOR face-first into the announce table and EY gets a table out from under the ring. He leans it against the barricade as Alexander takes a chair to O’Reilly’s back. Cole reverses a suplex and throws Eric into the steps just before Wolfe swings the chair full-force into the post!

KOR gets Wolfe in the chair and throws a few knees before popping up on the apron... METEORA! Kyle and Cole brawl Young and O’Reilly to the back as Bobby gets a moonsault... NOPE! EY tearing at Adam’s face, Bobby goes for plunder and comes up with a kendo stick, swinging it around and heading back inside with it... KILLIAN DAIN CATCHES IT LIKE IT’S NOTHING!

Fish runs away, gets up on the stage, begs off, and gives Killian the best forearm he has, only to get knocked right down with one in return! A BIEL OFF THE STAGE INTO THE CRUSH! That bit of insanity (or inSAnitY? I’ll see myself out.) takes us to another house ad.

Back to the action, Dain is stalking Cole in the ring and draws him to seated for vicious crossface strikes. A straight right hand follows, fireman’s carry, Adam slips out, ducks the lariat, big enzuigiri connects but Wolfe is right in after his teammate. Duck the enzuigiri, big sit-out powerbomb... O’REILLY MAKES THE SAVE! Fish shoulder thrusts Alexander in the corner and reDRagon run roughshod on the Axeman!

Exploder suplex forces Killian to break it up with a senton, he scoops Kyle up... MICHINOKU DRIVER / EARTHQUAKE SPLASH COMBO ON FISH... COLE BREAKS IT UP WITH A SUPERKICK! ERIC YOUNG BREAKS THAT UP WITH THE DIVING ELBOW DROP! EY sidesteps a superkick, hits one of his own but Kyle’s in with Ax and Smash! German suplex form Wolfe, Samoan drop from Fish, discus lariat from Dain!

Pump kick knocks Cole to the floor, the big man’s face lights up with a smile and he heads out after him... CANNONBALL THROUGH THE TABLE BUT NOBODY’S HOME! Undisputed putting boots to Wolfe, Adam calls for reDRagon to get him up and Bobby grabs a sleeper for a moment. Double chickenwing, Alexander slips out, malfunction at the junction and he clobbers O’Reilly with an uppercut!

He can’t finish the powerbomb because Cole superkicks him, Total Elimination... EY BREAKS IT UP WITH A KENDO STICK! Running wild on the tag champs, Adam levels him with another superkick! Stereo roundhouse kicks, Cole hits the Last Shot, Fish makes the cover... ERIC YOUNG WON’T GO OUT LIKE THAT! Killian comes back in and asks for all three at once! Undisputed get on him with punches and kicks and he knocks them all down!

Fireman’s carry front slam into a dropkick / senton, huge big man crossbody, Dain’s cleared house and he stalks behind Bobby Fish. Electric chair...

SAnitY win by pinfall with Ulster Plantation from Killian Dain on Bobby Fish.

SAnitY stand tall together in celebration.

That’s the show, folks.
