Rumors and reports have been getting around that Jason Jordan has been legitimately injured but the nature of that injury hasn’t been clear, although a rumor today noted it could be more serious than originally thought. Just today, his wife took to social media to say that was incorrect and he’s suffering through a “minor neck injury.”
A short time ago, WWE reported he underwent surgery to repair it:
“He had an injury to a disc in his neck which resulted in significant pain that was refractory to all conservative measures,” WWE Medical Director Dr. Joseph Maroon said. “It was decided to do a minimally invasive operation to decompress the nerve, to allow it to heal.”
The report indicates the surgery was “minimally invasive” and there is no current timetable for his return to action. The timing couldn’t be worse, considering we’re deep into WrestleMania season and WrestleMania 34 is just two months away.
On this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, Jordan cost Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns their tag team title match against Cesaro and Sheamus.
Stay tuned for any updates on Jordan’s condition.
