In yet another match, John Cena failed to make much of an impression, losing in the men’s Elimination Chamber match without coming all that close to winning. It’s clear he is not what he once was, and the story they’re telling is that he basically just blew his last shot at getting on the card at WrestleMania 34.
Here he is on Raw Talk after Elimination Chamber:

“You’ve given your life and your body to this, eventually time is going to grab ya. I don’t think I’m doing myself any favors by trying to juggle everything that I’m trying to juggle. I have all these conflicting interests where I want to do well outside of here for the benefit of here because it’s a wonderful goal to have because the opportunities staring me in the face are mythical. But every second I spend away from here the pulse gets weaker. As much as I want to say ‘man, nah, you still got it’ I was dishonest with myself. Now I have to be honest with myself and the honest question, or the honest statement, is I don’t know if I’m going to WrestleMania.”
What they don’t show there is Cena saying he might have a plan but it will go outside “proper etiquette” and that he’ll “figure it out.” What that means is anyone’s guess but it sure sounds like he’s about to do something crazy.
Like calling out Undertaker, maybe? Putting his career on the line, perhaps?
Stay tuned!
