Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar official for WrestleMania 34

WWE Network

Welp.

It was rumored for many, many months that WWE was once again going back to the idea Vince McMahon had all the way back in 2015, when he was going to have Roman Reigns defeat Brock Lesnar in the main event of WrestleMania 31, just a year after “The Beast” conquered Undertaker’s streak. It was going to usher in a new era.

Instead, Seth Rollins cashed in Money in the Bank, made it a triple threat, and stole the title for himself.

Now, three years later, we’re right back where we started at. With his win in the men’s Elimination Chamber match at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view (PPV) in Paradise, Nevada, Reigns earned the right to challenge Lesnar for the Universal championship in the main event of WrestleMania 34 on Sun., April 8, 2018, at the Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Their match was fantastic last time, even before Rollins showed up. We’ll find out soon if they can improve on it.

Here’s the WrestleMania 34 match card:

  • Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns (Universal championshp)
  • AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura (WWE championship)
  • Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal
  • Asuka vs. TBA
