Men’s Elimination Chamber match preview

In what will presumably be the main event of tonight’s (Sun., Feb. 25, 2018) WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view (PPV) from the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada, seven men will do battle in the Elimination Chamber match. On the line is a Universal title shot against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 34.

Let’s break down who is involved and who has an actual chance at winning this thing:

The Miz: He’s in first after taking a “L” in a match where he had a lot of help. He is the least capable of anyone in the match, physically speaking, and he’s locked in the Chamber with no way to get his Miztourage in. He’s screwed.

Seth Rollins: A dark horse who showed on Raw this past week that his endurance is unmatched. Is his toughness? If we’re going to get a surprise, it’s likely coming from Iowa.

John Cena: We’ve reached a point where the name “John Cena” means more than what the actual man brings to the table in a match like this. He could win, sure, but there’s no longer any reason to think he’s going to.

Finn Balor: Put it like this: he’s only in because he won a second chance qualifying match after losing his first and even then he shared a victory that allowed Rollins to sneak in as the seventh man in this match.

Braun Strowman: In his quest to ensure everyone gets these hands, he may be vulnerable. He may also just pick the entire Chamber up and throw it into the audience. He’s a monster who, while destructive and clearly capable, cannot be counted on.

Elias: He earned the right to enter the match last, so he’ll be hanging out in a pod strumming his guitar for much of the match. Has probably spent more time composing music than training for this match.

Roman Reigns: Yeah, he’s winning.

We’ll find out for sure later this evening. Follow along with us here.
