A fun WWE interview with AJ Styles on Jeff Jarrett

It was announced just days ago that Jeff Jarrett will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year. Considering this will represent his return to the company after many, many years away, they’ve been releasing various videos and articles sort of reintroducing fans to what he did when he was last in WWE.

But there are a lot of wrestlers currently under the WWE umbrella who got there at least in part due to assistance from Jarrett and his work in TNA. One of those guys is the current WWE Champion AJ Styles.

Naturally, he was interviewed about Jarrett and it’s real fun to hear them dance around actually mentioning TNA and even avoiding Bullet Club too.

Interviewer: “There’s also a new crop of talent here that have Jeff Jarrett influence, right, that Jeff’s kind of helped in other companies before.”

Styles, with a smile: “Other companies Jeff has helped, absolutely. I think I could be the one he’s helped the most, there’s no doubt about that. But there’s others that are here -- Bobby Roode, Gallows -- like, there’s a number of guys that you would have forgot that he’s helped, when you talk about like Road Dogg or Ron Killings. There are so many that people don’t even know that he’s helped, and definitely I’m one of them.”

Interview: “And he also was with you in a certain Club in Japan, too, right?”

Styles, again with a smile: “A certain Club in Japan! Jeff made his way over there and again we had fun. Listen, I love Jeff, I can’t say enough good things about him.”

Amazing.
