Even with two Elimination Chamber matches on the card, four bouts and a contract signing seemed light for a pay-per-view (PPV) line-up. But WWE addressed that on Friday afternoon by adding two more tag matches to what they’re promoting for Sunday, Feb. 25 at T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada.
On the 8PM Eastern main WWE Network broadcast, the company finally confirmed the Raw tag title fight which other outlets have been talking about since Titus O’Neill, Apollo and Dana Brooke issued a challenge on Monday night. Titus Worldwide will get a chance to become champs when they battle The Bar at Elimination Chamber.
For the Kickoff match, we’ll be getting something without a lot of build - but that could be part of the ramp up to a rumored WrestleMania feud. Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows of Bálor Club will lock up with The Miztourage’s Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel. Finn Bálor and The Miz will be in the #1 contender’s Chamber match later on in the night, and their interactions there, along with tensions from this pre-show action, could set the stage for an Intercontinental title match in New Orleans on April 8.
The odd men out here are Dash and Dawson. The Revival went from being teased as challengers for the tag belts to off the card. But the Top Guys could re-enter the picture to challenge the Titus Worldwide/Cesaro and Sheamus winner after Elimination Chamber, right?
Join us Sunday night, and we’ll all start finding out together.
