It all comes down to this. If Vince Russo was still with the WWE, the only logically step to settle this debate would be to hold a ‘last name on a pole’ match at WrestleMania 34. Earlier in the week news broke that Apollo Crews is now just Apollo.
Why? We still don’t know but rumors have been all over the place, on why the WWE adopted the sudden name shortening.
To add another layer to the Crews/no Crews drama, none other than actor Terry Crews has chimed in about the situation and he seems genuinely upset with the WWE about the whole thing.
I like and respect Apollo and wish him well— but The @WWE stole my name in the first place. https://t.co/PLqsPBhs0o

Apollo had to drop the Crews because Terry Crews has massive heat with the same lizard people that run WWE.

Again, we ask why? Lizard people? Backstage handshake deals gone wrong? Okay, maybe Russo is in on this story line.
Don’t work yourself into a shoot Crews.
Could the Brooklyn Nine-Nine and The Expendables actor be the reason why Apollo Crews is now just Apollo? What is your favorite new “The artist formerly known as Apollo Crews” conspiracy theory?
