Baron Corbin loses but saves AJ Styles from a Zayn and Owens attack

Did we get a glimpse of ‘Big Match’ Baron Corbin tonight (Feb. 20) on SmackDown?Tasked with sharing the main event slot with WWE Champion AJ Styles, Corbin had opportunity to step up and prove himself.

Reigniting an US title match feud from 2017, Corbin and Styles shared some nice chemistry together in the ring.

Was this a case of Corbin raising his game or Styles being able to get an amazing match out a broomstick or any wrestler currently on the WWE main roster?

After a powerful Deep Six, Corbin got a little too cocky and found himself on the wrong end of a Phenomenal Forearm. Despite taking the loss in the match, Baron Corbin stood tall at the conclusion of SmackDown.

Post-match the newly reformed duo of Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn jumped AJ Styles and were looking to set him up for a ride through the announce table. Before Owens and Zayn could put away Styles, none other than Baron Corbin came in for the save.

To the surprise of the live crowd, Corbin dropped Zayn and Owens with a pair of Ends of Days slams.

Is this a seed for a Baron Corbin face turn? Is Baron Corbin capable of making fans cheer for him?
