With a chance at challenging The Usos next month at Fastlane on the line, The New Day and Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin went heads up tonight (Feb. 20) on SmackDown.
Despite nearly dominating the whole match, Gable and Benjamin were unable to put away the combo of Big E and Xavier Woods early on.

Which duo will challenge the @WWEUsos for the #SDLive #TagTeamTitles?! pic.twitter.com/DxxSUUPxuE
After it looked like Benjamin and Gable were about to pin Big E off a powerbomb / lariat double team maneuver, Kofi Kingston jumped on the apron to distract the ref. Woods would break up the pin fall attempt then tag himself into the match.
During the chaos, Woods would go on to hit a Shining Wizard on Benjamin for a surprise three count win.
The New Day moves on to take on The Usos next month at Fastlane.
The Fastlane pay-per-view (PPV) takes place on Sun., Mar. 11, 2018, at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio.
Will the trio of The New Day finally conquer their Usos demons? Or will the team of Gable and Benjamin find a way to work themselves back into the title picture?
