Full spoilers from NXT’s Feb. 2, 2018 tapings at Center Stage

WWE.com

NXT is back - and again, they’re not filming at their home base of Full Sail Live. Instead, Triple H has taken the franchise to WCW’s old stomping grounds in Atlanta where they'll tape matches and segments for their regular Wednesday night series on WWE Network at Center Stage.

This evening’s show (Feb. 2) is the second of two straight nights in Georgia (catch up on an eventful night one here). With another taping scheduled back at Full Sail on Mar. 7, tonight will march us closer - but not all the way - to the pre-WrestleMania 34 live event in New Orleans. And since it will feature the return of The Dusty Rhodes Classic tag tournament as questions about the future of a beloved NXT favorite hang in the air, there’s a lot of marching to do.

We’ll be right here with you as results start rolling in from The ATL. We'll be updating those live, starting at the scheduled 6:30PM Eastern bell time:

  • Kassius Ohno over John Skyler in what is presumably your dark match of the evening.
  • Nikki Cross over Vanessa Borne.
  • Adam Cole over Cezar Bononi. Apparently Cole got the win at least in part by making Cezar an offer to join the Undisputed ERA that turned out to be a ruse.
  • Velveteen Dream over Tyler Bate.
  • Shayna Baszler over Kairi Sane.
  • Andrade “Cien” Almas and Zelina Vega come out for a promo. Aleister Black eventually interrupts. Killian Dain joins them and a brawl breaks out between him and Black as Almas retreats to the stage to watch. Dain ends up laying Aleister out.
  • Ricochet(!) over Fabian Aichner. All of Ricochet’s graphics bill him AS Ricochet, no less!
  • Authors of Pain (Akam & Rezar) over TM-61 (Nick Miller & Shane Thorne). (2018 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic First Round Tournament Match)
  • Bianca BelAir over enhancement talent.
  • Tommaso Ciampa comes out for a promo segment. He never actually gets to speak because the crowd is booing him too heavily and he ends up snapping and beating a Johnny Gargano sign so hard he broke his crutch.
  • Aleister Black over Killian Dain.
  • Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford) over Heavy Machinery (Otis Dozovic & Tucker Knight). (2018 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic First Round Tournament Match)
  • Tommaso Ciampa comes out again and is greeted with a crowd full of Johnny Gargano signs. Again he doesn’t even say a word, just gets booed to holy hell and pelted with wadded up signs for about five minutes before leaving.
  • Dakota Kai over Lacey Evans. After the match, Shayna Baszler comes down to try and put Dakota on the shelf again, but Ember Moon makes the save before she can do anything. Baszler takes Moon up top but Kai makes the return save with a kick to the head and Ember ends up hitting Eclipse on Shayna.
  • SAniTy (Alexander Wolfe & Eric Young) over Riddick Moss & Tino Sabbatelli. (2018 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic First Round Tournament Match)
  • Pete Dunne (c) over Adam Cole by disqualification when Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly interfere in the match. (WWE United Kingdom Championship). Roderick Strong makes the save and he and Dunne fight Undisputed off.
  • William Regal comes out for a contract signing. Aleister Black vs. Andrade “Cien” Almas is officially set for the NXT Championship in New Orleans. Almas, however, is absent, allowing Zelina Vega to sign for him and run the show. Black, not about to be flanked, has Candice LeRae backing him up and she attacks Vega!

There you have it, folks

Another couple weeks of NXT TV to take us that much closer to TakeOver: New Orleans. The picture’s starting to get clearer, but do you like what you see, Cagesiders?
