Bayley was the 29th entrant in the first ever women’s Royal Rumble match this past Sunday night in Philadelphia. She didn’t make much of an impression, however, and was unceremoniously tossed out by her best friend, Sasha Banks.
DTA and all that.
However, this wasn’t followed up on the next evening on Monday Night Raw, as WWE announcers failed to bring it up while Banks was busy losing in a valiant — if dangerous — effort against Asuka. In fact, Bayley wasn’t even on the show.
No, she showed up before the USA Network went to air because she taped a match for this week’s episode of Main Event. If you’re thinking that’s a bad thing, she’s got some positive spin for you:
Guys...let’s get this straight...it’s a GOOD thing I was on #MainEvent. I’ll take any chance I can get to step inside the ring. Especially in a singles match and especially when it ends with a victory

That’s certainly a way to look at it!
And, hey, it’s almost certain she’s getting a title shot at Elimination Chamber anyway. All’s well that end’s well, right?
...
Right?
