In the buildup to tonight’s (Feb. 19) Monday Night Raw, Asuka getting on the mic and cutting a promo was a key bullet point. With a match set for this Sunday at the Elimination Chamber Network special versus Nia Jax, the 2018 women’s Royal Rumble got her chance to cut a promo but then she didn’t.
Before Asuka could answer another question, Jax jumped her from behind and laid waste to her in the ring. It’s rare to Asuka to get off no offense but Jax left The Empress of Tomorrow out on her feet following a vicious beat down.
