Looking to reach the bar set by Seth Rollins, Finn Balor and Elias took the baton for Raw’s gauntlet match. After Rollins spent one hour and five minutes running the gauntlet, Elias took him out with Drift Away which led to Balor entering the ring.
1 hour and 5 minutes.

Even though @WWERollins has been eliminated from the #GauntletMatch, tonight, Monday Night #RAW was #MondayNightRollins! @IAmEliasWWE pic.twitter.com/BSQtOir1uL
Balor and Elias did their best to match the energy brought by Rollins. For Elias it was one of his better matches since being called up to the main roster.

Still nursing his injured ribs from last week’s Braun Strowman giant double bass guitar beating, Elias did not have enough gas in the tank to get by Balor. A Sling Blade, shotgun drop kick into a Coup de Grace was enough for Finn Balor to end Elias’ Monday night.

With only The Miz and Braun Strowman left for the now 90 minute plus gauntlet match, the Intercontinental champion made his way to the ring via sneak attach while The Miztourage walked down the entrance ramp.

Off Bo Dallas interference, The Miz hit the Skull Crushing Finale and pinned Balor for the three count. Miz picked up the win but was unfortunately rewarded with a well rested Braun Strowman.

Realizing there really weren’t any stakes to this Raw gauntlet match, The Miz ran away like a smart coward before he was run down down by Strowman’s fleet feet. The Monster Among Men would eventually drag Miz’s body back into the ring where he tossed the IC champ around like a small sack of potatoes.
Instead of the quick victory, Strowman prolonged The Miz’s beat down.

Despite The Miz hitting a Skull Crushing Finale after he ran to the outside then back in the ring, Braun Strowman kicked out and hit his own running powerslam for the gauntlet match win.

Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman were the stars of the nearly two hour gauntlet match, does either man have their hand raised this Sunday at the Elimination Chamber?
