‘SmackDown guy’ Randy Orton doesn’t really have time for Ronda Rousey questions

The brand split is still alive and well for The Viper.

Personally, I’ve never been the biggest fan of Randy Orton: Professional Wrestler. I don’t know enough about Randy Orton, the person, to offer anything like an informed opinion. But I can tell you that famous-person-who-doesn’t-have-time-for-your-bull$#!+ Randy Orton is someone I adore.

The latest example of that greatness came when TMZ tried one of their airport ambush interviews on him to ask about Ronda Rousey:

“I don’t know anything about Rousey, she’s on RAW and I’m on SmackDown. I’m going to work, I’m sorry. I’ve never met her. I don’t watch RAW, I’m a SmackDown guy.”

A little disappointed Randy even offered an apology, or this expanded answer:

“It’s not that I don’t have any interest in it, I don’t know her. Based on what she’s accomplished, I would say she has a good chance at being one of the top female wrestlers, eventually, but she’s got a long way to go.”

At least when posed with a ridiculous hypothetical like “will she be as big as one of the biggest stars in the history of the business (Hulk Hogan)?”, Orton realistically dismisses it before getting back to waiting for his ride:

“There’s no way to tell... but we’ll find out - when was that? When’s she signing the contract? I guess we’ll find out from that day forward.”

RKOs are great. But I really just want to see Randy NGAF... OUT OF NOWHERE... forever and ever.
