WWE SmackDown Live ratings (Feb. 13, 2018): Unimpressive numbers continue

It’s almost like quality matters or something.

Though the decline isn’t drastic, SmackDown’s audience continues to get a little smaller each Tuesday night. On Feb. 13, WWE drew 2,449,000 viewers, a loss of 56K viewers from the previous week. That actually led to a higher ranking among most viewed original cable programs on the night, but finishing fifth behind a NBA game featuring LeBron James and reigning MVP Russell Westbrook, Sean Hannity and Tucker Carlson on Fox News shows and MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow might just be an indication there wasn’t a lot of competition.

Cavs/Thunder beat the blue brand in demographic share among 18 - 49 year olds, but there was a small silver lining there, too. The rating increased from seven days prior, but only to a .76.

We’re into the build to Fastlane, so the question will become what WWE can to make SmackDown’s existing programs more enticing for fans over the next month. Think on that, and check out data from the past six months (including overall 18 - 49 year old ratings for 2018 episodes) below, so you can see what an uphill climb they have in front of them.
