AJ Styles is already talking Hall of Fame for Ronda Rousey

WWE.com

TMZ caught up with AJ Styles for an interview recently and naturally talk quickly turned to his thoughts on Ronda Rousey. He went right into hype mode, to the point of outright hyperbole:

“Let me tell you about someone who came in kind of like Ronda did, and learned like that -- Kurt Angle. I don’t know if you remember Kurt coming in like that. He just went straight to the top. He was an Olympic champion but he still didn’t have the name recognition that Ronda has. Ronda, though, she’s an athlete, man. She can adapt, that’s what she does. She’ll learn quick. She’ll be a sponge. She’ll be up there with the Kurt Angle’s and everyone else that’s went on to the Hall of Fame.”

As for an opponent at WrestleMania 34, he put over the women’s WWE roster, saying she would have a great match with Charlotte, Asuka, Sasha Banks, really anyone. Rumors and reports have been all over the place since she debuted at Royal Rumble, ranging from a match with Charlotte to a mixed tag team alongside The Rock against Stephanie McMahon and Triple H.

It’s certainly looking like her very first match in a WWE ring will take place at the biggest event of the year, and maybe ever if she’s worth as much as WWE would like us to believe she is. Her inexperience isn’t stopping Styles from crowning her a Hall of Famer in waiting.

Stay tuned.
