WWE SmackDown Live ratings (Dec. 4, 2018): Numbers plummet

If WWE was looking to Tuesday night for good news in the television numbers, they didn’t get it this week. SmackDown’s audience not only lost roughly 316K viewers from the week before, it clocked in with the smallest audience of 2018 and second smallest since going live on Tuesdays - the blue brand failed to break the two million mark on Dec. 4.

Only 1,948,000 tuned in to USA Network last night.

That made SmackDown tenth among cable originals on the night in viewership (behind History Channel’s Curse of Oak Island, and the usual array of MSNBC & Fox News political talk). Ratings were pretty bad, too. By that metric, WWE came in third after dropping to a .66 share of the overall 18 - 49 demographic.
