WWE, as they are wont to do, was celebrating their promotion of their women’s division on social media. In doing so, their Twitter account selected four pictures of key moments featuring women’s wrestlers from 2018.

Nia Jax noticed they all had something in common, and blew the whistle:

There’s a SmackDown bias, but that’s obviously not what Jax is taking issue with. While it likely/hopefully wasn’t a conscious decision to only feature white wrestlers, it’s a curious selection of photos regardless. You can’t tell the story of 2018 without Ronda Rousey, Charlotte Flair & Becky Lynch, but do we need two pictures of Carmella’s Money in the Bank cash-in? Love her or hate, Nia was around the Raw Women’s title scene for most of the year, including winning the belt at WrestleMania 34 and being the first person Rousey challenged for it. Naomi won the Battle Royal in New Orleans last April. Asuka is the current blue brand champion. Sasha Banks & Bayley are front-runners for the new Tag titles. Ember Moon’s developed into a fan favorite.

There are options, is what we’d like to join Jax in saying...
