The best segment of this week’s episode of Raw featured a forgotten tag team we have not seen for weeks.
With acting Raw General Manager Baron Corbin looking to make budget cuts, he turned to Heath Slater and Rhyno. In a backstage segment Corbin flat out asked one member of the former SmackDown tag team champions to quit.
When Slater and Rhyno refused, Corbin put them in a singles match with the loser getting fired from Raw.
The match was brief but was still the best two minutes on Monday night.

After Rhyno missed on a shoulder tackle in the corner, Slater hit neck breaker and got the quick pin.
Goodbye Rhyno.
Shortly after Slater picked the win, Corbin assigned him a new role on Raw.
