A couple of tweets from Johnny Gargano:
There's extreme irony in the fact that a lot of us were talked down to and called names for being wrestling fans when we were younger.. only to grow up, achieve our dreams of becoming pro wrestlers just to be talked down to, and called names by.. other wrestling fans?..

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.. but let's remember that we're all human beings.

WE are all fans of this crazy world of pro wrestling. WE as a whole are better than toxic negativity on social media.
My hope for EVERYONE in 2019.. Man or Woman..
Just be a good dude.
This is such a strange thing, because pro wrestling is such a strange business. This seems to be Johnny Gargano not being the character he plays on NXT but rather the actual person telling people to be nicer on social media. Then again, are fans supposed to be nice to, say, the heels of wrestling? If people were actually just “good dudes” as he says, wouldn’t that mean we would never have heat?
I’m obviously not advocating for any sort of verbal abuse via Twitter simply because a wrestler plays a bad guy on television. That said, a wrestler using a social media account to get heat as their television character would almost make it a good thing fans are being negative to them.
Right?
I don’t know.
This weird little thought exercise could only exist in the wrestling world.
