Well, this is interesting.
In addition to announcing that women’s tag team titles will indeed be coming to WWE in 2019, Vince McMahon revealed on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw that “The Greatest of All Time,” John Cena, is back and will be appearing on both Raw and SmackDown Live.
This comes not long after Cena mentioned that while he would be returning for a run of shows over the next month, none of them would be televised. That always seemed strange, considering if he’s available and ratings for both shows are as low as they’ve been, why not use him? Then again, he’s got Hollywood commitments scheduled early next year, so this wouldn’t seem to be a full time return.
But a part-time star is better than a no-time star, I suppose.
