In a nice Christmas present for NXT fans, and tag team wrestling fans, and wrestling fans in general, the episode of Raw which aired on Dec. 24 featured Tag champs Chad Gable & Bobby Roode defending their titles against The Revival.
All four men wore gold on the black-and-yellow brand, and Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder put on some classics with Gable and his old American Alpha partner Jason Jordan battling for the NXT Tag titles before they were all called up.
Unsurprisingly, their match on in Sacramento was a lot of fun, and featured some impressive graps:

but alas, twasn’t enough on the night before Christmas. The Glorious One was always there to make the save, and Gable eventually countered into a small package onto Dawson to ensure his side kept the belts.
Good news though! Dash was the legal man, so The Revival have an excellent case for a rematch... if we still do antiquated things like the the McMahon’s “new era”.
