R-Truth & Carmella win Mixed Match Challenge season 2

The final of the second season of Mixed Match Challenge took place at tonight’s (Sun., Dec. 16, 2018) TLC pay-per-view (PPV) at the SAP Center in San Jose, California. The Fabulous Truth (R-Truth & Carmella) took on Mahalicia (Jinder Mahal & Alicia Fox) for the right to earn the number 30 spot in their respective Royal Rumble matches, not to mention an all expenses paid trip to anywhere in the world.

This season was plagued by injuries, as nearly half the field saw its team change due to some injury or ailment. In the end, these two teams were the only teams left who made it through without issue.

The match was still played for comedy, as the show has been known for, as Truth and Carmella did their typical dance break and The Singh Brothers decided to get involved and dance along with them. They were beaten up and thrown out of the ring for it, of course.

At one point, Fox put her hat on and Truth tried to use it himself but she turned on him with a kick to the gut. The action broke down and turned chaotic, ending with Carmella submitting Foxy with her finish.

We now know the number 30 entrant in both Royal Rumble matches.

After, they were interviewed and Truth said they were going to WWE headquarters for their paid vacation.
