Over the weekend, Naomi and Mandy Rose got themselves into a bit of a dust up on social media, leading to a match being booked between the two for SmackDown Live this week. It never happened.
We don’t know when exactly the match was cancelled but as late as 8:23 pm ET, Naomi was posting stuff like this:
Like if you #feeltheglow and can’t wait for me to end @WWE_MandyRose aka #bootleg tonight on #sdlive pic.twitter.com/aj1lGlVZJa
— Trinity Fatu (@NaomiWWE) December 12, 2018
Within an hour, she was retweeting complaints about the advertised match not taking place, ultimately finishing up by posting this:
I’m not sure if my match got cut or if @WWE_MandyRose just didn’t show regardless I’m over it I’ll let the fans handle this 1 for me #sdlive ✌️

Rose played it like this:
The real truth is that I was too busy to wait around and had a photoshoot, something @NaomiWWE doesn’t know anything about. You should be glad bc I was going to embarrass you tonight SIS! #Priorities #SDLive pic.twitter.com/abPbXIc5M7

For its part, WWE actually acknowledged the match and attempted to explain it in storyline:
There’s always next week!
