After weeks of building up their feud Ronda Rousey and Nia Jax didn’t have a chance to do much on the go-home episode of Raw.
This was an interesting strategy by WWE. In what was billed as a face to face moderated by Alexa Bliss, Jax cut a long winded promo to open the segment and Rousey didn’t say more than two short sentences.
The majority of Jax’s promo was spent talking about her hand and then glaring at her hand while she spoke to her closed fist. For the most part Jax’s promo fell flat and then she screamed so loud it felt out of place.
Before Jax could speak anymore Rousey rushed down to the ring with the mic in her hand blurted out something about wanting to fight. Rousey rushed her words and then Jax bailed before the champ could get her hands on her.

The highlight of the segment for Rousey? Just tossing Jax over the barricade.
