Really bad WWE Raw delivers really bad audience numbers

This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw was so bad, the only good news about it for WWE might have been that ratings data wouldn’t arrive until Wednesday due to last week having been a holiday here in the United States.

Did the wait help ease the blow? Probably not. Even against a NFL game which didn’t break 10 million viewers, a show without Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar or Braun Strowman, where Ronda Rousey was working toward a match with Nia Jax rather than bigger names from SmackDown, and which centered on retread authority figure storylines predictably delivered some bad numbers.

Viewership was down from last week’s 2.49 million, clocking in among the worst figures of the modern era as the three hours averaged 2.37 million.

The hourly breakdown also showed that this was an episode viewers didn’t want to stick with as it built to a Baron Corbin main event:

Hour one: 2.61 million
Hour two: 2.38 million
Hour three: 2.11 million

Next week can’t be worse. Right?
