The Falcon Arrow finally won a match for Seth Rollins

And the crowd goes mild. So Seth Rollins and Dolph Ziggler are wrestling again.

In isolation, Rollins and Ziggler really are two of the best wrestlers not only in the WWE but in the world. Rollins and Ziggler can legitimately make a claim to the mythical crown of ‘best in the world’ and it would make for an argument worth hearing out.

The problem for what feels like the last six months, Raw has given fans some combination of Rollins vs. Ziggler one too many times.

When Rollins restarted his Intercontinental title open challenge, the possibilities of who would answer the call were endless. A returning Bray Wyatt? A NXT call-up like Velveteen Dream or EC3? Maybe someone from 205 Live like Mustafa Ali or Cedric Alexander get their one time shot at the big time?

Instead, fans got the record scratch and Ziggler challenging Rollins yet again.

Seth Rollins versus Dolph Ziggler for the IC title, again.

The match itself? It was pretty damn good. The Raw live crowd in Milwaukee even gave Rollins and Ziggler a brief, faint “this is awesome” chant. After Ziggler hit a vicious Zig Zag on the champ, Rollins kicked out and the crowd paid their respects.

Looking to start a rally Rollins went for his signature superplex into Falcon Arrow combo. Then Ziggler didn’t kick out of the move.

Wait, what?

Rollins wins by the Falcon Arrow?!?! Thank you WWE. That was a surprise ending.

Seth “Freaking” Rollins is still your WWE IC champion.

Losing in another title match, and getting pinned by the Falcon Arrow, where does Dolph Ziggler go from here?
