AJ Styles’ remarkable pay-per-view (PPV) streak ended at Survivor Series just days after he lost the WWE championship to Daniel Bryan amidst reports he’s currently negotiating a new contract with the company that involves fewer dates. Then, he missed this week’s episode of SmackDown Live.
The company did announce he’ll be returning to TV on next week’s episode. Then, later, they revealed he would get his rematch with Bryan at the upcoming TLC event on Sun., Dec. 16, 2018, at the SAP Center in San Jose, California.
Bryan is working an entirely new character and Styles will be returning to a brand he was champion of for a full year to once again find where he fits. If he’s not champion, what is he?
