WWE Raw viewers hold steady against wild Chiefs-Rams game

This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw came one night after the Survivor Series pay-per-view, which would typically mean a jump in viewers. The game has changed quite a bit in the WWE Network era, with major pay-per-view shows nowhere near as important as they used to be, and viewership for television reflecting as much.

Plus, ESPN had a historically significant game on Monday Night Football, with the wild Kansas City Chiefs vs. Los Angeles Rams shootout living up to the billing. That game, which saw the Rams earn a 54-51 victory, scored 16.61 million viewers, per Showbuzz Daily.

Raw, meanwhile, drew 2.49 million, up just slightly from last week’s 2.45 million.

The hourly breakdown maintained the usual pattern:

Hour one: 2.72 million
Hour two: 2.50 million
Hour three: 2.25 million

The competition won’t be nearly as stiff next week, though the programming doesn’t necessarily look nearly as compelling either.
