SmackDown Live finalizes Survivor Series teams ... for the most part

@WWE

This week’s episode of SmackDown Live was the last before Survivor Series this coming Sun., Nov. 18, 2018, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. That meant finalizing the blue brand’s Survivor Series teams.

They didn’t quite manage to pull that off.

To be fair, they get something of a pass, considering Becky Lynch’s injury led to a complete reshuffling of the card. Daniel Bryan managed to win the WWE championship from AJ Styles, taking him out of the men’s elimination match. He was replaced by Jeff Hardy.

Meanwhile, Charlotte, who was expected to become the fifth member of the women’s team, was chosen by Lynch to replace her in her scheduled match against Ronda Rousey. That leaves that slot open, and as of this writing no one has been announced for it.

Finally, the tag team squad was filled out with all the names you were expecting because, well, it’s all the names SmackDown has: The Colons, SAnitY, and The Good Brothers will join The Usos and The New Day.

See you Sunday!
