WWE uses Becky Lynch injury to get heat on Nia Jax

WWE did not hold back on Nia Jax in the opening segment of this week’s SmackDown.

Attempting to explain why Becky Lynch could no longer compete at Survivor Series versus Ronday Rousey, WWE kind of threw Jax under the bus. With reports surfacing throughout the day that Lynch was out of Survivor Series, WWE gave a very detailed explanation on how Jax injured the SmackDown women’s champion.

First they showed zoomed in and slow motion footage of Jax punching Lynch in the face without pulling up.

Not a good look for Jax.

Then Tom Phillips came on screen to report that Lynch suffered a broken face (yes, WWE doctors really said that) and a concussion last night during her Raw takeover.

So Lynch is officially out of this Sunday’s match with Rousey and the WWE isn’t shy about putting the blame on Jax.

Is WWE using Lynch’s injury to heat up Nia Jax for a potential match with Ronda Rousey down the road?
