Broken nose notwithstanding, Becky Lynch is having a good day.
Already one of the hottest acts in WWE, she stole the show during the closing angle of Raw on Nov. 12 to further sell her main event caliber match with Ronda Rousey at this Sunday’s Survivor Series pay-per-view (PPV). Now she’s coming for Rousey’s side job in action movies.
Okay, that’s a stretch. Ronda’s dreams of Hollywood stardom aren’t quite taking shape the way she and her agents hoped. But a role in Furious 7 still probably trumps one in The Marine 6: Close Quarters, the latest edition of the WWE Studios franchise which features Rebecca Quin (Lynch’s real name) in a supporting role.
But as you can see in the above exclusive clip from Marine 6 - out on DVD, Blu-Ray and digital streaming services today (Nov. 13) - maybe its not that much of a stretch? Quin brings the swagger which has made her a kayfabe sensation to this character, too. Her Maddy Hayes, the leader of an international criminal cartel the Miz’s Jake Carter & Shawn Michaels’ Luke Trapper will battle in the movie, is bossing around dudes twice her size, punching kids and threatening to hang a juror’s daughter (punny!) in the woods.
