We haven’t heard much from Jason Jordan this year. It was first reported he was injured back in January and had neck surgery not long after. Then, multiple reports made the rounds he was close to a return in May before rumors that his neck issue was worse than expected and WWE may have been training him to be a producer.
Finally, we hear from the man himself via social media:
I’m ready to attack this week and make huge improvements! I’ve been trying to keep my eye on the prize and look at the big picture. I’m still on the road to recovery and I’m very optimistic about getting back to where I belong! pic.twitter.com/hven7dXOFF— Jason Jordan (@JasonJordanJJ) November 11, 2018
Missing an entire year makes clear just how serious his neck injury actually is, or was, despite his wife’s brief attempt at dispelling that back in February. It’s a real shame, too, considering how talented he is and just how well he was getting over as a heel before this forced him off television.
Here’s to hoping that road to recovery leads to the place he’s hoping it does.
