The next pay-per-view (PPV) on the WWE schedule is the Survivor Series event set to take place on Sun., Nov. 18, 2018, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. As has been the case the past couple years, this show will feature match-ups pitting wrestlers from Monday Night Raw against wrestlers from SmackDown Live.
We’re just one week from showtime and the card looks like this:
- Ronda Rousey vs. Becky Lynch
The match-up of women’s champions from both brands, this is a legitimately compelling match-up that feels much bigger for the run Lynch has put together over the past few months.
- Brock Lesnar vs. AJ Styles
Lesnar won the Universal championship just in time to set up a rematch from last year’s Survivor Series. He won that match. He’ll probably win this one.
- Seth Rollins vs. Shinsuke Nakamura
Rollins is Intercontinental champion, Nakamura is United States champion. Seth, as of this writing, is also Raw tag team champion, but that seems likely to change soon enough.
- AOP vs. The Bar
AOP defeated Seth Rollins (sans Dean Ambrose) to win the Raw tag team titles, setting up a match against SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Bar.
- Team Raw vs. Team SmackDown (Men)
So far, Dolph Ziggler, Drew McIntyre, and Braun Strowman have been confirmed for the red side, while the blue side has The Miz, Daniel Bryan, Shane McMahon, Rey Mysterio, and Samoa Joe.
- Team Raw vs. Team SmackDown (Women)
Alexa Bliss is the captain of the Raw team and will pick who is on her side on this week’s episode. The SmackDown side will feature Naomi, Carmella, Sonya Deville, Asuka, and, most likely though it isn’t quite official, Charlotte Flair.
- Team Raw vs. Team SmackDown (Tag teams)
They haven’t announced anyone on the Raw side, while The Usos and The New Day will team up on the SmackDown side.
- Buddy Murphy vs. Mustafa Ali (Cruiserweight championship)
Ali beat Tony Nese to become top contender and this is where he gets his shot.
