A GIF of Cesaro running wild in the above Triple Threat tag title match from the Dec. 12, 2016 episode of Raw got a couple of knowledgeable wrestling tweeters to make the claim...
This is possibly the greatest hot-tag/comeback in history. https://t.co/EkMXC6RqPe

@ShaneHelmsCom said this was the best hot tag/comeback in history & I was ready to call bullshit til I watched it-- @WWECesaro (always Claudio to me) this may indeed have been the best comeback EVAH! https://t.co/GRPdkA7BOk

If we’re considering it in historical context, this was the opening bout on the episode where New Day won two Triple Threats to officially become the longest reigning tag champs in WWE history. Plus, Shane Helms and Jim Cornette have seen and studied a lot more hot tags than me, so I’m willing to take their word for it.
But I’m also a giant Claudio Castagnoli/Antonio Cesaro mark from way back, so that predisposes me to go along with this without doing too much research. So I’m handing that burden off to y’all.
Is this the greatest hot tag you’ve ever seen? If not, whose was better? Please show your work.
