No build? No problem, if you’re the WWE and booking the Crown Jewel kickoff show.
Already slated for eight matches plus the semifinals and finals of the World Cup tournament, WWE.com broke the news that Shinsuke Nakamura will put his US title on the line versus Rusev during the Crown Jewel kickoff show.
When we last saw Nakamura, he was defeating R-Truth in a standard US title defense this past Tuesday on SmackDown. Rusev was absent from SmackDown on Tuesday and was last seen getting Aiden English to tap out in what now looks like the blow off to their Rusev Day break-up feud.
The WWE Crown Jewel Kickoff show from Saudi Arabia streams live on WWE Network on Friday, Nov. 2 at 11 a.m. ET/ 8 a.m. PT.
Any chance Shinsuke Nakamura drops the US title in Saudi Arabia? Or does Rusev notch another loss in a title match?
