Despite at one point looking like the event would be cancelled all together, the WWE is marching forward with Crown Jewel.
Set for 11 matches total, Crown Jewel takes place on Friday, Nov. 2 from the King Saud University Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The all male event is the second WWE show held in Saudi Arabia in 2018, following April’s Greatest Royal Rumble. The events are part of a 10-year partnership between the WWE and the Saudi General Sports Authority in support of Saudi Vision 2030; Saudi Arabia’s social and economic reform program.
Just like with the Greatest Royal Rumble, the WWE is going all out to make Crown Jewel feel like one of the company's bigger pay-per-views of the year.
New video of the Crown Jewel stage set-up has been released and the whole package looks like it could go toe to toe with some of the WWE’s past WrestleMania events.

Packing nearly 25,000 fans into the stadium, the WWE is treating Crown Jewel like one of its bigger events of the year. The stage itself looks massive and may offer some interesting visuals for those watching on the WWE Network.
Cool stage? Or hard to look past everything that has gotten us to this point?
