The build to WWE Evolution begins

Now that Super Show-Down is in the rearview mirror and the roster is back in the States, it’s time to start the build to Evolution, the first ever all women’s pay-per-view promoted by WWE.

Well, even before Super Show-Down, they released this:

Get ready for a lot of that, WWE pushing a message of inspiration and taking credit for being at the forefront of pushing the cause. Right away, the current Raw Women’s Champion, Ronda Rousey, says this:

“I think that WWE is social commentary for the world. To effect real social change, this is the place to do it.”

Later, Carmella talks about WWE being in the middle of a women’s revolution and that being in the middle of a women’s revolution in the world. This is all really important, they’re saying.

Even though WWE will send its male roster to Saudi Arabia later that very same week for an event where the women are not welcomed.
