Here's a place to check results and comment along with the latest 205 Live as it airs on WWE Network.
The purple brand is said to be getting more eyes on since moving to Wednesdays, and they’ll look to keep that momentum going as the build to Buddy Murphy vs. Cruiserweight champ Cedric Alexander at Super Show-Down this Saturday (Oct. 6).
Expect build to that, and fallout from the double countout stalemate in the war between Ced’s friend Mustafa Ali and Hideo Itami from last week’s show. We’ll have two former champions in action on this episode, when Kalisto tries to avenge his Lucha House Party brother Lince Dorado’s unmasking at the hands of TJP. And Drew Gulak’s crew stays angry, both about the Cruiserweight Crusader’s title loss and the injury The Brian Kendick suffered at Akira Tozawa’s hands. Gentleman Jack Gallagher will try to get revenge when he faces Tozawa in Portland.
We'll post match results, highlights and plot developments here. And this gives you Cagesiders a dedicated place to rave and/or bitch about whatever goes down on the WWE’s cruiserweight showcase - while it’s being broadcast at 7PM Eastern!
NOTE: Spoilers are out there for these pre-taped broadcasts, but many Cagesiders don’t partake. If you are going to post or discuss spoilers for this show in the short-time between when this article is published and the show’s start, please use the spoiler bar in your comment.

- Vic Joseph, Nigel McGuinness and Percy Watson welcome us to Portland. Tozawa enter and works on hyping up the fols who arrived early for SmackDown. Gallagher follows with Drew Gulak and The Brian Kendrick.
- Akira Tozawa def. Jack Gallagher via pinfall following a senton from the top
The former champ is willing to grapple with Jack at the start, but after trading pinning predicaments, Tozawa rolls through, hits a kick and a senton and gets back to his game.

A distraction by Kendrick lets Gulak grab Akira’s foot when he warms up for a dive, and the Gentleman is in control. Tozawa eventually gets some separation to hit a windmill kick, and when Gallagher rolls out to avoid the senton from the top, his opponent finally hits that suicide dive.
They trade submission attempts, with Tozawa reaching the ropes on a single leg Boston crab variant. The battle on the apron, and when Gallager positions him on the top rope, Akira pushes him off and hits his finish.
- Gulak demands a microphone. It’s come to his attention their team isn’t living up to their full potential, so he directs his partners and the “simple people in the arena” to an old teaching tool of his. It’s the return of hisssssss Powerpoint Presentation!
Mr. @DrewGulak has the POWER, and he will make a salient POINT.

They pick up at slide ten, which is a cartoon of Kendrick begging which says “No Mercy”. Drew runs down the former Cruiserweight champ, calling him dead weight... and Kendrick attacks before he can get jumped!

He throws Gulak out and gets a couple swings in on Gallagher to lock in the Captain’s Hook when Drew recovers. Gulak doubles back to inflict more punishment before they finally leave Kendrick laying in the ring.
- Clips of last week’s sitdown interview are interspersed with new promos from Cedric training outside and Murphy training at the Performance Center. They both vow to win in Melbourne.
- Kayla Braxton interviews DM THE GM about the end of Itami/Ali last week. He’s given both men the week off to recover, but he knows things aren’t done between those two men. The next time they face off, it’ll be a match no one wants to miss.
- Next week, Lio Rush will hold an open challenge.
- Kalisto def. TJP via pinfall
Lucha House Party hits the stage with Kalisto, but head to the back while he enters. TJP is out in a LHP shirt, which he rips off while promising to take Kalisto’s mask off. The luchador gets him back in the early going, avoiding and mocking TJP.

A frustrated cruisergreat finally gets in some offense with a drop kick to Kalisto while he was wheelbarrowing away. More kicks on the apron lead to a submission set-up where TJP rips the tail portion off Kalisto’s mask.

He smirks, stomps his opponent’s head to the match and then gets two on a cover. After more punishment, Kalisto fights out and goes for the twisting back body off the ropes, but TJP catches him and pulls him to the mat to keep control with a painful looking butterfly submission and another nearfall off suplexes.

After another comeback is thwarted, TJP taunts from the top rope, allowing Kalisto to recover and avoid the splash. His comeback builds to a basement rana for two.

A battle in the corner sends Kalisto over the ropes and then dropped back in over the ropes for a nearfall for TJP, then the luchador catches his opponent with a kick to the head while TJP was on the top rope. A twisting sunset flip powerbomb followed, but the Cruisergreat kicked out at two!

Kalisto with the “lucha” chants while both men recover, but when he goes for Salida Del Sol, TJP flips out and kicks out his leg. A knee bar leads to a great near finish before Kalisto finally gets to the bottom rope, which leads to a frustrated TJP trying to rip Kalisto’s mask off. Lince Dorado runs down to stop that and gets blasted off the apron. But that gives Kalisto time to recover and roll TJP up for three.
- After the bell though, TJP attacks while Kalisto is getting his hand raised and rips the mask off! He covers his head as Dorado and Gran Metalik come to his aid. TJP slinks off into the crowd, smiling and showing off his latest trophy.
