Both Ronda Rousey and Becky Lynch retained their titles at Evolution, defeating Nikki Bella and Charlotte Flair, respectively. Lynch has been talking about going after literally every woman on Earth in her quest for world domination, and she made good on that by confronting the Raw women’s champion during her backstage interview:
They waited to air it until tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw, where they went ahead and announced the two will wrestle in what I, for one, will be calling a superfight at the upcoming Survivor Series pay-per-view on Sun., Nov. 18, 2018, from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.
Lynch had been talking about her quest transcending shows, and it’s not like WWE has ever been strict in its adherence to the brand split, so may see Lynch on Raw in the coming weeks and/or Rousey on SmackDown.
So far, this is the only match announced for the card, but expect that to change in a hurry as there are just under three weeks to showtime.
