Nia Jax & Tamina’s tribute wasn’t just for Roman Reigns’ current fight

Reigns, of course, just announced he’s taking a leave of absence from WWE to resume his battle against leukemia. To hear Jax tell it, that wasn’t the reason she and Tamina chose to pay tribute to the Big Dog - or not the only one, anyway. It was also because his status as a leader very much applied to both the mens’ and womens’ locker rooms:

“Oh gosh. It was something that, you know, all the men before us have helped us get here but he’s one of the guys, other than being my family, who is constantly supporting us, all the girls. Like, giving us advice and just really being there for us. So he deserved to be in there with us, so I’m so glad we were able to do that for him.”
